Since the park district’s inception more than 100 years ago, the people of Summit County have been instrumental to its success in providing clean and safe parks, protecting natural resources and connecting people to nature. During its 100th anniversary in 2021, the park district enjoyed celebrating the residents, visitors and community partners who have helped make the park district what it is today.

- There’s still time to take the Centennial Tour to discover 20 unique park locations throughout Summit County and earn a reward! Due to popular demand, residents may complete the tour by December 31, 2022.
